The Regional Campaign for Zero Tolerance for Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) was launched in 7 countries in the Euro-Mediterranean region. Its objectives are to raise awareness concerning this social issue and engage the societies in these countries in preventive measures and in changing attitudes towards all forms of VAWG. It also addresses gender discrimination in different spheres and aims to inform victims about existing services and to enhance the support that authorities can provide.
